Headteacher's Welcome

I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to the Morley Victoria Primary School website. It is designed to provide you with as much information as you require about our school. I hope very much that you will enjoy reading and looking at the photographs of our children having a marvellous time with their ambitious, rich and varied curriculum, both in school and out with our wide variety of trips, visitors and extra curricular activities.

We feel that Morley Victoria is a very special place where the children are at the heart of every decision made. Our positive and respectful ethos is one where equal emphasis is placed on academic achievement and personal and social skills including the mental and physical health and wellbeing of our children and staff. Our aim is that all of our children, regardless of background or ability, will have a broad, balanced and varied, exciting education so that their academic outcomes are the best they can possibly be when they are ready to move on from our school to the next stage of their education. Our pupils make tangible contributions to the life of our school and wider community.  We strive for our children to be confident, resilient, strong, well rounded individuals with firm beliefs and who are able to make good decisions about their futures and lifestyle choices. For more information about our school Ethos, Mission Statement, Vision and Values - please click here.

Reading is a priority.  Developing our children to be confident readers who have a life-long love of reading is our top priority - we view reading as the 'master skill' and the true key to success.

We have a very committedemotionally intelligent staff who work exceptionally well together and go the extra mile for the benefit of all our children. Our Governing Body is highly effective and offers excellent support to our school. We are an outward facing school and our work with other schools in the Morley Primary Partnership and beyond is hugely beneficial to everyone. We consider that everyone at Morley Victoria is all part of one big family.

We hope you will enjoy your journey with us at Morley Victoria. We have an open door policy so should you need us, you are always welcome.
